What INSPIRED you to become a model?
What inspired me is growing up and loving fashion. I got scouted at a young age, and ever since then something sparked in me. Even though I could not do it at that age, you are never too young to model and I am so glad to be able to start at 19 (Thanks Diane & Cindi!). I knew at that moment this was going to be something that I took seriously. When you know something that is right for you, you get a burning passion to pursue it no matter what, and that’s what’s led me here. People all my life always told me I should model too and why I haven’t done it yet. That added more fuel to my fire!
What are you most excited about when it comes to modeling?
What I’m most excited about is meeting other people like me. Everyone is so unique and that’s so clearly seen. All of us models have our own unique look to share with one another, and I find other models are SO funny!!!!!
I’m also very excited to meet new amazing people and have amazing laughs while doing something I love.
Can you share with us some advice you have for models wanting to get into the industry?
Think about key pointers or lessons you’ve learned along your journey, and remember to always keep trying. Even during the tough days.
If you know modelling is right for you, then you have to advocate for yourself. Keep pushing, keep meeting more people… Imagine how excited you’d be if after 50 rejections you got a yes. It only takes one yes!
