Answers to Q&A

What INSPIRED you to become a model?

My biggest inspiration to become a model came from my mom. I’ve been into fashion since high school and always experimented with different styles to see what suited me. Of course, I embarrassed myself at times, but that’s part of the process.

I didn’t have the confidence to believe I’d be part of the Canadian modelling scene… it felt dream like. When I visited India this summer, my mom was stunned to see how much I’d changed after a year in Canada. She insisted I take digitals two days before my flight. She was the only person I told about the digitals and application.

Back in Canada, she reminded me daily to apply until I finally decided to try. Within a day or two of applying to Ciotti, I received an email from Jarrett, now my agent, asking for a meeting. I was overwhelmed that he saw potential in me, and I’m truly grateful. That’s how I got signed.

What are you most excited about when it comes to modeling?

I love shoot days. The most exciting part is seeing myself transform into different looks by professionals on set. The way makeup artists compliment my skin and hair. I also enjoy connecting with photographers and other professionals who have already excelled in their careers. It’s a privilege to work with such talented artists.

I’m also interested in seeing how modelling shapes my overall path. Outside of this I am a computer science student and a crypto trader.

Can you share with us some advice you have for models wanting to get into the industry?

As a fresh face, I’d advise new models to trust their instincts… Or those of the people they trust. Believe in yourself. You’ve got this!

share a fun fact about yourself!

A fun fact about me is that I constantly try to learn from my experiences. I put myself in unfamiliar situations and under pressure because it helps me grow. I may feel exhausted or crash at times, but looking back, those moments matter.

I’d rather feel like I’m running out of time than sit and do nothing. It can be stressful, but it pushes me to do my best.

I also love discovering new music, especially older bands and artists who haven’t hit the spotlight yet. I can’t go a day without music… it gets me through everything.
