Answers to Q&A
Why did you want to become a model?
I’ve always been told I have the bone structure of a model and many people say I look like one too. At first, I didn’t think much of it. But then one day, my mom sent a few photos of me to modeling agencies without telling me. When I found out, I was surprised, but it also got me thinking seriously for the first time about modeling and what it could mean for me.I realized that this path might actually be something I’m meant to explore. Not just because of how I look, but because of what I want to represent. I want to inspire others to believe that happiness and success don’t have to look one certain way. That it’s okay to take an unconventional path if it feels right. I’m just a small-town guy with big dreams, and I think there’s power in that.
Modeling, for me, is about more than photos or fashion, it’s about making a statement. I want to see the world, experience new cultures, meet new and interesting people from all walks of life, and grow through every step of the journey. But more than anything, I want to be seen, not just for how I look, but for who I am. I want people to remember me for me, for staying true to myself, and for showing that it’s possible to chase your dreams even if they don’t fit the mold. I think it's important to show people who you are, to believe in yourself and keep pushing boundaries. That’s the kind of impact I hope to make.
What makes you special?
I think what really makes me who I am is my heart and people seem to notice that too. I’ve often been told I have a big heart, and that I’m the kind of guy who brings a calm, caring energy into every space I walk into. I just care about things and the people around me, especially my family and I work hard to achieve what I want in life. I always try to be supportive and encouraging, and see the best in every situation even when things are tough. I just believe that being positive, working hard, and having a kind heart is very important and I bring that mindset into everything I do.
What are you passionate about?
I’ve always been competitive, but mostly with myself. I push myself to become better than I was the day before. Whether it’s taking care of my mental and physical health or working toward my professional goals, I hold myself to a high standard because I believe in what I’m capable of becoming. I am passionate about showing up better everyday, not just for myself, but for those around me, and the goals I am reaching for.
One thing people may be surprised to find out about you.
One thing people might be surprised to learn about me is that I’ve never had a girlfriend. I’ve met and spent time with some amazing girls, but I’ve never been in a real relationship. Growing up in a small town probably played a part, and I’ll admit, I can be a bit shy when it comes to girls. But honestly, it’s more than that.
I’ve always believed in real connection, the kind that feels honest, deep, and mutual. I’m not the type to rush into something just for the sake of it. I’d rather wait for someone who feels right, someone I genuinely want to keep close. To me, love should be something meaningful, not just something convenient. So I’m okay with taking my time. When it happens, I want it to be real.
When you are not modeling, what do you do on your day off?
When I’m not modeling, you’ll probably find me on a basketball court, lost in the game, or out in nature where I feel most grounded. Whether it’s fishing by a quiet pond, hiking a trail, or just sitting by a fire under the stars, that’s my reset. Those moments bring me peace. It’s my way of staying connected to what really matters
Your most embarrassing Moment.
One of my most embarrassing, but unforgettable moments happened when I was about ten years old. My mom, my little sister, and I were doing a skit for Mardi Gras. I was on stage pretending to ice fish, sitting on a five-gallon bucket, really getting into character. Then out of nowhere, I lost my balance, fell backward, and crashed onto the floor. My feet flew up, the bucket and fishing rod went flying, and for a second, I just laid there, stunned.
The whole audience burst out laughing, they actually thought it was part of the act. I was mortified at first, but looking back, it was one of those moments that reminds me not to take life too seriously. Sometimes, even when things don’t go as planned, they turn into the stories you laugh about the most.
What’s your most prized Possession and why?
My most prized possession is a simple black leather bracelet my grandmother gave me when I graduated high school. At the time, she had just been diagnosed with dementia, and the message that came with it meant more to me than I could ever put into words. She told me to always look for the good in each day, to follow my dreams, and to never stop believing in myself.
Even though she doesn’t remember giving it to me now, I know she chose it with love, as a reminder that no matter what happens, a part of her would always be with me. I wear it every day, not just as a bracelet, but as a piece of her strength and spirit that I carry with me. And even now, I treasure the little moments I still get to share with her. That bracelet is more than a gift, it’s a reminder of the bond we’ll always have.
Who is someone you admire and why?
If there’s one person I admire most in this world, it’s my mom. She’s been the constant in my life, through every struggle, every milestone, and every moment in between. When my sister and I were young, she made the brave decision to leave an abusive relationship, and from that moment on, she raised us on her own. She gave us everything she could, even when she had nothing left for herself. People always say they have the best mom, but I have the bravest. She sacrificed so much, not because she had to, but because her love for us was greater than anything life threw her way. She worked hard, stayed strong, and never let us feel the weight of what she carried. Her strength shaped who I am. I wouldn’t be who I am without her, and everything I become will always be a reflection of her love and resilience.
How did you become a model?
It all started with a leap of faith when I auditioned for CMTC in St. John’s, Newfoundland. I had no idea where it would lead, but deep down, I hoped it could be the beginning of something real. Attending CMTC 2025 in Toronto turned out to be a life-changing experience. I was honored to place 1st in Runway, 1st in Commercial Print, and 1st runner-up in Photography Go-See. But more than the awards, it was the connections, the growth, and the energy of being surrounded by so many passionate people that truly stayed with me. That week taught me so much about the modeling industry, and even more about myself. I met with incredible representatives and was fortunate to sign with my Mother Agency Sutherland Models (Toronto) and Together Model Management (Montreal.) Not long after, I traveled back to Toronto to begin my modelling career. Between development and bookings, I eagerly got to work, determined to grow not just as a model, but as a person.
Recently, my Mother Agency arranged for me to meet with IMG UK, France, and Italy and sigend with all three markets! In September I’ll be traveling across the world to step into the next chapter. This dream is unfolding piece by piece, and I’m grateful for every moment, every lesson, every person that has helped me, and every opportunity that brought me here.
What are two interesting things about you?
Two things that really reflect who I am is my love for playing basketball, and I’m really into cologne. Basketball has always been my favorite sport, there’s just something about the focus, the rhythm, and the energy of the game that fuels me. It’s where I feel confident and free. And then there’s cologne, something most people wouldn’t expect. I don’t just enjoy wearing it, I actually love collecting it. For me, a scent isn’t just about smelling good, it is also a way of expressing who you are without saying a word. Finding the right one feels like finding the perfect vibe for the moment.
If you could give an aspiring model any advice, what would it be?
If I could give one piece of advice to any aspiring model, it would be this: be comfortable in your own skin. That’s where your real power lives. You have something no one else does- you. Your look, your energy, your story, your presence, they’re all uniquely yours, and that’s what sets you apart. It’s easy to fall into the trap of comparison in this industry, but the truth is, no one can be you better than you can. So instead of trying to fit into someone else’s mold, focus on embracing what makes you different. Show up as yourself. That’s what people want to connect with. That’s what leaves a mark. Own it, and let that be your strength!
