I established Massardo Model Management as a model management and placement firm based in Toronto, Canada. I started after noting a growing demand for models who require a more personal level of management. This happened after working within the fashion industry in different capacities (as a fashion stylist, writer, fashion magazine editor and casting assistant) over the course of nearly a decade.
For each model that I bring on to the roster, the focus is not only their short-term goals and aspirations, but also to achieve career longevity. The “boutique” management philosophy means a smaller model roster, which allows for a personalized, hands on approach whereby each model receives the attention they need (and deserve).
How does it work? After scouting a model, a portfolio is built to promote to local and international booking agencies. Once ready, the model is placed with the best booking agencies in the markets most suitable for their look. From there they begin to attend castings and auditions and attempt to book paid work. Massardo Model Management is always the model’s manager (mother agent) and with a small roster, this ensures ongoing support for those that are represented.
Models on the roster have been placed with agencies (and worked) in - Toronto, Montreal, New York, Los Angeles, Paris, Milan, London, Tokyo, Singapore, Athens, Hamburg, and many more! Some of the clients the models have worked for include -- P&G Beauty, Dolce & Gabbana, DIOR, Comme des Garcons, Vogue Magazine, Armani, Louis Vuitton, Charles Jeffrey LOVERBOY, Juana Martin, Sephora, Revlon, Frank & Oak, SSENSE, Lululemon, Vero Moda, Adidas, L’Officiel Magazine, FASHION Magazine, Harry Rosen, Simons, Macy’s, Burberry, among many others.
