What INSPIRED you to become a model?
I’ve always been a very creative person and I knew I wanted to work in an industry that allowed me to work with other creative people! I was scouted by my mother agent, Amna Bouazza, on Instagram. Interestingly, my sister had been signed with her for a while so it was really exciting to hear that she wanted to meet with me as well. We had a meeting and I signed soon after!
What are you most excited about when it comes to modeling?
The most exciting part for me is being able to work with a whole team of people to bring an idea to life. Seeing makeup artists, stylists, photographers and everyone in between, in their element and working to bring something to life has always been so cool.
Can you share with us some advice you have for models wanting to get into the industry?
Be patient and stay true to yourself. “No” is something that models hear often and it can be hard to not internalize. Understanding that it’s not personal and it’s part of the industry is really important! Everyone’s modeling journey is different and unique to them.
