What INSPIRED you to become a model?
Modelling was always something I thought about pursuing but not something I seriously considered until recently. After graduating from university, I felt a bit lost since my life had been ‘planned’ up until that point. Modelling seemed like this far away dream until I thought “why not try?” and that’s exactly what I did. I think a lot of people are scared to be seen trying something new and putting themselves out there but I think it’s super cool.
I’ve always been creative and had an eye for aesthetics especially when it comes to fashion, photography and film. Scrolling on Pinterest and creating mood boards while listening to music is a genuine hobby of mine. Creative directing my life is something that I love to do, making the most mundane things look and feel beautiful. I’m inspired by the art of visual storytelling and being able to draw on different emotions without needing a written explanation. I think the joy of creativity is at the root of my inspiration for pursuing modelling.
What are you most excited about when it comes to modeling?
What excites me the most about modelling is getting to be a part of someone's creative vision and seeing it come to life. It’s truly so rewarding and makes me feel extremely inspired and motivated. I also look forward to traveling, meeting new people and stepping outside of my comfort zone. There are so many exciting opportunities within the modelling industry and I feel extremely fortunate that I get to be a part of this world.
Can you share with us some advice you have for models wanting to get into the industry?
I would tell anyone starting out to be patient!! Trust your own timing and don’t compare yourself to others. Find an agency you trust. I’m so lucky I connected with Jarrett at Ciotti because I know he has my best interest at heart. Focus on the things you can control, be super coachable and don’t take anything personally. Open yourself up to feedback, try new things and say yes to every opportunity that comes your way!

I used to dance competitively when I was little! I loved the rush of being backstage, getting to wear beautiful costumes and performing in front of a crowd. In a weird way I feel like it’s prepared me for modelling so I’m grateful for that.
