What INSPIRED you to become a model?
I was scouted, but I have always loved fashion so when the opportunity came around I was so excited! I had gone with my mom to a small backroom comedy show in downtown Toronto while she was dropping me off at University. My mom and I share the same sense of humor so a free comedy show was right up our alley! On my way out I was approached by a scout, and after chatting for some time, she ended up passing my information along to NEXT Toronto. I was really nervous, but after meeting with the agency, my nerves subsided because of the kindness I was met with. I’ve truly loved every step of this journey and can’t wait to keep growing in the industry.
What are you most excited about when it comes to modeling?
To me, what's most exciting is getting to experiment with different looks when it comes to makeup and fashion. I love getting to see myself embody different aesthetics and vibes that I would not usually turn to in my everyday life. I also love getting to meet new people and connect with individuals from all over the world who share a similar passion. I’ve learned so much and really value the creativity and passion that is this industry.
Can you share with us some advice you have for models wanting to get into the industry?
I was so nervous to start out, from my first set of digitals to my first creative opportunity, but the biggest thing I've learned is to really have fun with it and let go! When I look back on my first few opportunities in the industry, I wish I could go back and tell myself that there is no need to be nervous or have any anxiety, everyone is always so kind, and when you let yourself have fun with it, it’s an amazing experience to be a part of.

Growing up, my parents moved my family around a lot and I got to live in Belgium, Germany and Boston, which I am so grateful for! Now I live in Canada and couldn’t be happier with my decision to keep moving to new cities, I feel like I learn more about myself every time! I am also a cat mom of two!
