Answers to Q&A
Why did you become a model?
I originally wanted to become a model because I’ve always loved to travel. Modeling has given me the opportunity to see the world while working with people from so many different backgrounds, cultures, and languages. It has also allowed me to explore my childhood love of acting. Every photoshoot feels like stepping into a new character or story. Through the art form of photography, I get to express emotion, movement, and narrative in a way that feels deeply creative and fulfilling.
What makes you special?
What sets me apart is my drive and my work ethic. I genuinely love modeling and the fashion industry, and I always try to go above and beyond for clients. I grew up with hardworking parents, and those values shaped who I am: reliable, prepared, and always willing to put in the effort. Every day that I get to model, I’m truly grateful, and I think that gratitude shows in the way I approach my work. I bring consistency, professionalism, and passion to every set.
What are you passionate about?
I believe it’s important for models to explore passions outside of modeling, because those interests make us more creative and well-rounded. I’ve always taken acting classes and plan to continue expanding that part of my craft. I’m passionate about film, comedy, and storytelling, everything from podcasts to animation inspires me. I also love painting and drawing. Exploring different art forms fuels my creativity and helps strengthen my confidence, both personally and in front of the camera.
If you could give an aspiring model any advice, what would it be?
If I could give an aspiring model any advice, it would be to take your time. Like any competitive industry, it can be challenging to get your foot in the door and find your place. There’s often so much pressure to fit a certain age, size, or look, and when I was younger, I constantly worried that I was running out of time.
But the truth is: it just wasn’t my time yet. Every rejection I faced was redirecting me toward something better. It’s okay to be a late bloomer. It’s okay if things don’t happen for you right away. You’re not behind, you’re building.
Everyone’s path in this industry is different, so try your hardest not to compare your journey to anyone else’s. Stay patient, stay grounded, and trust that what’s meant for you will come when you’re ready for it.
What are two interesting things about you?
I have planted close to 30,000 trees in Northern Ontario.
I’m currently in the process of writing and animating a children’s book.
