What INSPIRED you to become a model?
I wanted to do something outside of my comfort zone and be comfortable with the way I look, No I wasn’t scouted, I applied. It was shortly after my birthday in September, I thought to myself what is something I haven’t done yet or scared to do, you know? I’ve been told before that I could model but I didn’t really believe in it at first and feared rejection and critique that I would get from others. I thought to myself what do I have to lose? Nothing, so I applied to different agencies in Canada from all the agency that I saw that I could apply too. 6 got back to me, 3 rejected me, 3 call me in, but 2 didn’t feel like a fit other than 1 which was Lang. I went in nervous not knowing what to expect and we talked for a bit exchanged pleasantries at the end and said they’ll let me know by the end of the week what their decision is. I kid you not that very same day, 2 hours later they made their decision and wanted to move forward with representation, I was stocked and overjoyed I can’t lie.
What are you most excited about when it comes to modeling?
What excites me the most is the photoshoots, the trips but most especially the people I’m gonna meet and get to know on my journey that being other models, photographers, clients, directors, makeup artist, the people that have a burning passion and desire for their craft, that make this all possible. I get to learn thinks from them and apply it to myself and how I do things and grow as a model but most importantly as a person.
Can you share with us some advice you have for models wanting to get into the industry?
Take a leap of faith when uncertain and doubt creeps in, because you never know what might happen if you keep selling yourself short, going through rejection and failure is ALWAYS gonna be part of the process just have the will to get up and keep going after every rejection and failure even though it hurts, burns or stings, how would you know what you’re capable of doing? Ask questions, be open to learning from everyone and be patient, somethings will take time before they happen just have the confidence and faith in yourself that you can do anything and that would take you to where you want to go.

Fun fact about me? I’m competitive so I play both competitive basketball and competitive E-sports as well, I edit content in my spare time it helps with my creative and for the fun of it, I draw as well but haven’t done so in a bit, I play the piano when I need to relax and get lost in thought, I watch anime and read manwha’s, donghua’s and books as well.
