Answers to Q&A

Why did you want to become a model?

I wanted to become a model because I think it’s the perfect mix of creativity, adventure, and connection. I love being able to express myself freely in front of the camera, putting on a different persona with each outfit, making wild, or even silly poses, while doing something unique. It’s so cool getting to do this in different parts of the world because it lets me connect with people from all kinds of cultures. Doing this allows me to blend self expression and my curiosity to explore.

What makes you special?

What makes me stand out as a model is that I’m super intuitive. I can walk onto a set and vibe with what’s going on. I love reading the room and bringing the kind of energy that makes everyone feel good and keeps the shoot fun. Even if the team is speaking another language, I usually just get it and know what they’re asking for. I think that mix of awareness, flexibility, and good vibes is what makes me unique.

What are you passionate about?

I’m really passionate about my health and making choices that help me feel my best, because the habits I’ve built make me feel strong and beautiful from the inside out. I enjoy learning new skills, eating foods that are nourishing, focusing on how I can fuel my body and my workouts. I’ve always been active growing up, but never started taking it seriously until I needed to stay in my best shape for work, so what started as something I needed to do, turned into something I now love, and look forward to on my days off.

what would you like to see changed within the fashion industry?

What I’d like to see changed within the fashion industry is a stronger commitment to sustainability. Fast fashion has a huge impact on the environment, from the waist that it creates to the resources it consumes. Even though we have lots of sustainable brands, I would love to see more brands focused on sustainable practices, whether that’s recycling materials or even promoting thrift shopping.

how did you become a model?

I started modelling in a very unexpected way. While I was working as a sales associate at Zara, Gail the agent from Jäger Management, chased me down on a busy day to introduce herself. She ended up inviting me for a meeting at her office that week, and out of curiosity, I went. Not long after signing with Jäger I went to my first scout meeting, and ended up signing with an international agency. I was so excited. A few months later I was already on my way to Milan.
