What INSPIRED you to become a model?
I applied to Lizbell Agency in April after going back and forth with the idea of modeling since I was a teenager. I have and still do get comments that I should model or something along those lines. I used to think it was just a nice compliment, but I started wondering if I should finally do something more about it than just saying “thank you” and wishing that I was one.
I also love how experimental fashion and modeling are. I think it’s neat that fashion relies on not just the clothes to convey meaning but also the individual wearing the pieces to further evoke the vision.
What are you most excited about when it comes to modeling?
Meeting new people. I like learning if it’s on my own time. I feel like I always get to learn pieces of history, whether it’s personal history or otherwise, from talking to people who I probably wouldn’t know about in any other scenario. I’m admittedly a huge people-watcher when I’m out and about. It’s also exciting telling people I’m a model.
Can you share with us some advice you have for models wanting to get into the industry?
I’m very new to modeling so I don’t know if I have any sage pieces of wisdom other than just be yourself. It can be super nerve-wracking, but the job won’t be nearly as enjoyable if you’re spending half of it trying to fit into some sort of mold that isn’t you.
Also don’t show up late to things, I’ve had vivid nightmares about that already.

I was in my local news twice! My first time was in a local newspaper when I was a little kid for winning a costume contest for Halloween, I believe I was a “corpse bride”, completely unrelated to the Tim Burton movie, and I felt like I had won the child version of the lottery as I got free candy and my photo taken.
The second time I was in the news was 2023, when my childhood cat came back after going missing for three years. My cat was the true star of the show, but there’s a clip of me and my brother being interviewed!
