Answers to Q&A
Why did you want to become a model?
I wanted to become a model because I saw it as a way to grow into the most confident version of myself. It wasn’t just about the photos or the runway, it was about proving to myself that I could stand in front of a camera, or a crowd, and own my space. My inspiration started close to home: watching my older sister model with such poise and self-assurance made me want to step into that kind of power myself.
Modeling has been a journey of transformation for me from self-doubt to self-expression, from hiding to shining. It gave me the push to embrace who I am, unapologetically.
What makes you special?
My friends say that I have a way of making something good out of any situation, that I usually bring some sort of light to a cloudy day. I think it’s because I try to see the best in people and find meaning even in the small things. Whether it’s through a smile, a calm presence, or a bit of humor, I try to lift the energy around me.
What are you passionate about?
I’m currently six months into a year-long Pilates instructor course. I’ve found that Pilates and modeling pair really well together. They both require body awareness, discipline, and presence. Pilates helps keep me motivated, grounded, and connected to myself, which naturally carries over into my work as a model. It’s something I’m really passionate about because it’s not just physical… it’s mental strength too.
One thing people may be surprised to find out about you.
One thing people are often surprised to learn about me is that I trained in kickboxing for 12 years, and during my last couple of years, I even taught women’s classes. Growing up, I was inspired by seeing Victoria’s Secret models kickboxing. It showed me that strength and femininity can absolutely go hand in hand. Kickboxing taught me discipline, confidence, and the power of consistency - lessons that I carry with me into modeling and everyday life.
When you are not modeling, what do you do on your day off?
About two years ago, I picked up hand knitting, so now on most rainy days in London when I’m not working, you can catch me on the couch, with my favourite play list on, knitting a blanket. It’s my way to relax, recharge, and get creative.
