Answers to Q&A

Why did you become a model?

Growing up in Biarritz, right on the Atlantic coast, I was always curious about the world beyond my hometown. I loved being around people and I dreamed about travelling far from my little surf town. Becoming a model was never a plan of mine, it actually came looking for me. At twenty-two I was spotted by Roxy, a surf brand from my region, and in that moment a door opened onto a life I had never imagined. What made me say yes so quickly was everything about the job. The chance to meet new people on every set, to wake up in a different city or country, and to build real connections with creative teams from all over the world. I have always felt most alive when I am surrounded by others and discovering somewhere new, so modelling gave me a way to turn the two things I love most, people and travel, into a real career.

What makes you special?

For me it comes down to how easily I adapt. I have built my career across France, the United Kingdom, Germany, Denmark, Belgium and Switzerland, and every single one of those markets works in its own way. I have learned to read a new team within minutes and to give each client what they are looking for, whether that is a soft editorial mood, a polished beauty campaign or a funny commercial. Moving between all those styles feels natural to me rather than a stretch. On top of that, I take real pride in being calm, prepared and genuinely easy to work with, which is often what makes the difference on a long shooting day. Clients tend to remember how you made the day feel, not just the pictures, and that is why brands keep inviting me back season after season.

What are you passionate about?

My greatest passion outside of work is dance. I have loved moving to music for as long as I can remember, and over time it has become far more than a hobby for me. It is how I express what I cannot always put into words. There is a certain emotion and release in dancing that I do not find anywhere else, a feeling of being completely honest and completely free at the same time. It has also shaped me as an artist. Learning to control my body, to tell a story with a single gesture and to perform without fear has given me a confidence and a presence that follow me onto every set. Dance taught me that beauty is not only how you look, it is how you move and how you make people feel, and I carry that belief into everything I create.

Who is your favourite model?

My favourite model is Tianna St Louis. What I admire most about her is the quiet strength she brings to everything she does. She has a presence that feels powerful and effortless at once, and she always seems completely herself, no matter the client or the setting. In an industry that can push you to fit a mold, I find it genuinely inspiring to see someone stay so authentic while succeeding on an international level. That is exactly the kind of career I am working toward. She reminds me that you can rise in this world without losing your identity, and whenever I need a little motivation, she is one of the people I look to.

When you are not modelling, what do you do on your day off?

When I finally get a day to myself, the first thing I usually do is book a dance class. My favourites are Hip Hop and Heels, and there is nothing like the energy of a studio full of people, loud music and a choreography to lose myself in. It is how I recharge while still doing something I truly love. Those classes are as much about the fun and the people as the movement itself, and I always leave feeling lighter. When I am not dancing, I like to slow things right down. I catch up with the people I care about, wander around whichever city work has taken me to, try new places to eat and simply enjoy having no schedule for once. A perfect day off for me is a mix of both, a little bit of energy and a little bit of calm.
