What INSPIRED you to become a model?
My journey into modelling actually started back in my eighth grade when my classmate pointed out that I could be a great model, but I didn’t take it very seriously. Growing up back in Burundi, the local fashion industry wasn’t highly visible, and I didn’t see many success stories that made a modelling career feel real to me.
Everything changed when I moved to Toronto in 2022. I received encouragement from people who suggested I should try modelling and I saw successful models and agencies that place talent overseas, and these models were successful both locally and internationally, which truly opened my eyes and inspired me.
I’ve applied to a few agencies, and Massardo was the first to reach out to me. In our meeting I felt completely confident that I would be in good hands.
What are you most excited about when it comes to modeling?
I’m very excited to build a career in both local and international markets. I look forward to teaming up with talented photographers, designers and other artists. Most of all, I want to challenge myself, push my limits, and see what I can achieve.
Can you share with us some advice you have for models wanting to get into the industry?
My main advice is to be prepared both mentally and physically, and to have strong self-belief. In this industry, it can sometimes take longer than you expect to reach your goals. But you don’t have to worry too much, because it’s also very fun and there is so much to explore!

I speak almost four different languages, I play four different instruments and I love sim racing. I also really enjoy coding and that is what I will do after finishing my modelling career.
